The last game
Eight members of Svenska Blues came to Birmingham to watch the last game of the season at S:t Andrews Saturday the 7th of May. Blues lost 1-2 to Blackburn Rovers in a game where there wasn´t much difference between the sides. Blackburn took the lead with two screamers and Pedersen scored in his last game for the club. The most positive was to see many young players take their chances in the sunny weather. If we can keep the talents we got we can look forward with hope.
Three winners
Before the game we had our traditionally ceremony to hand over Svenska Blues Award to our player of the season and it was Scott Hogan who got it. We also handed over The Award for 2019/20 to Lukas Jutkiewicz and for 2020/21 to Maxim Colin. After the game we were meeting friends and discussing the game at The Spotted Dog, a nice pub with a beergarden. We ended the evening at Lamp Tavern where mister Fitzpatrick poured us the best Guinness in Birmingham.
The Birmingham City FC Award
On Friday we had a meeting with David Brown (Supporter services Officer), when we discussed our cooperation with the club. David had two spare tickets to the Birmingham City Football Club Award 22 which he gave to us for our support to the club.
So on Sunday evening Christer and Eric took on their new bought suites and had an fantastic evening, and had the chance to say hello to some of the players, and enjoyed the meal and drinks. Thans a lot!
So good to be back again
Even though we lost the game we had a really good time and as it was three years since the last time we enjoyed it especially well.
Keep Right On!
